Due to their high mobility and charge bonus these warriors are best suited as shock troops, a single charge from a high level/armoured Shieldbearer squad can change the tide of a battle very quickly. They also have high health paired with good morale means that they can be relied upon to hold an area unless they are outnumbered, surrounded, or against equally leveled/armoured heavy infantry.
